I know, there are a million egg patterns out there but give me a break. There is always room for one more, particularly one that really produces.
I am always on the look out for new, exciting, synthetic materials and a few years back, I found a dandy. Crystal Antron Chenille from Cascade Crest Tools. It is available in three different sizes and a multitude of colors.
It was obvious to me that the opal butt or tag would be part of the fly from the get-go. As you can tell from many of my patterns, I am looney for opal tinsel.
This fly will be available from Rainy's Inc. fly shops and dealers in 2010. Sorry for the long wait. Until then, tie some.
